SILVIA FURMANOVICH 18-KARAT GOLD, BAMBOO, TOPAZ AND DIAMOND EARRINGS

Brazilian jewelry designer, Silvia Furmanovich, is known for her innovative craftsmanship, love for natural materials and strong attention to detail. Among the non-typical elements used in her work, there are wood marquetry, ebony, oxidized copper, vintage lacquer, shells, woven bamboo and netsukes (small sculptural adornments worn on kimonos). Yellow and rose gold, shining diamonds and coloured gemstones nicely balance the use of natural elements.

Silvia Furmanovich's earrings have a unique sculptural design showing a refined use of traditional Japanese knot weaving techniques. They are made from 18-karat gold and navy bamboo that is elegantly twisted by hand. A blue topaz gemstone surrounded by diamonds complements a dangling silhouette.
