Due for completion in Q2 2028, Project Zen represents Van der Valk Shipyard's most ambitious undertaking to date. At 48 metres, this aluminium superyacht emerges from a collaboration between designer Guido de Groot and Van Oossanen Naval Architects, shaped by an owner who understands exactly what he wants from life at sea. Built for those who value both efficiency and elegance, Project Zen pairs a fast displacement hull with an aft-mounted Hull Vane, achieving a remarkable range exceeding 4,400 nautical miles at 10 knots. The sleek, sports car-inspired profile belies a thoughtful interior arrangement: five guest cabins, a full-beam owner's suite with adjoining wellness area, and crew quarters for eight. The yacht speaks to families and seasoned owners alike. A generous bow lounge, spa pool, and garage stocked with tenders and water toys invite long days spent close to the water. Retractable self-levelling stairs at the sea terrace ensure morning swims feel effortless.
