ComplexCon Sneakers For Breakfast

Sneakers for Breakfast concept was inspired by the legendary Japanese Artist, Takashi Murakam and his Dobtopus Sculptures and designed by a London-based product designer Mr. Bailey (Daniel Bailey). Each of the tentacle's was incorporated into the sneakers fastening system, with the cord wrapping around the ankle/knitted bootie, weaving through the removable cover and being closed off by a toggle, adorned with one of Takashi's infamous Jelly Fish eyes. This ultimate version of sneakers was presented at ComplexCon, the innovative festival and exhibition to bring together pop culture, music, art, food, style, sports, and education, and was available via a silent Ebay auction, with these ending up reaching a top bid of $17,100.00
