RACEBIRD ELECTRIC POWERBOAT

Formula One, just electric and just on the water - E1 World Electric Powerboat Series championship was recently announced by The Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) and by Formula E and Extreme E founder Alejandro Agag. First-ever marine-based championship exclusively for electrically-powered boats. As it is the case with Formula One, there should be just one standardized racing model and this is going to be The RaceBird. Super futuristic single-pilot hydrofoil design which more resembles crafts from the StarWars than boats will be racing with a speed up to 69 mph / 111kmh. The craft is being designed and developed by the London-based SeaBird Technologies.
