24/7: Kelly Slater

24/7: Kelly Slater is a documentary that offers a revealing look inside the surfer’s life as he prepares for the Billabong Pipe Masters in Oahu, Hawaii.

The one-hour special gives a peek inside Kelly Slater’s home life on the North Shore of Oahu. It also captures Slater competing in the November Hawaiian Pro at Hale’iwa, while he reflects on his surfing career and what lies ahead.

Kelly Slater was raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where he became a junior amateur surfer. He turned professional in 1990 and went on to become the youngest surfing world champion two years later. The 11-time world champion has since developed artificial wave technology that powers the World Surf League’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California.
