WATERLIGHT - THE DEVICE THAT TRANSFORMS SALT WATER INTO LIGHT

This innovative new device features the body of a lantern and the inner workings of a tiny powerhouse that converts saltwater into radiant light. Created to address the fossil fuel shortage that will plague the world in coming generations and the eminent need for green energy, the WaterLight has created a portable LED lantern that recharges its batteries with saltwater. Designed by E-Dina and Wunderman Thompson, the WaterLight is a refreshing new take on eco-friendly lighting that detracts from solar power. In fact, the WaterLight is far more efficient than traditional solar powered lighting and doesn't have the same limitations that come with solar. With just a liter of saltwater, the WaterLight can provide up to 45 days of light.
