Talisker The Wild Blue is a limited-edition single malt that captures the rugged spirit of Skye's coastline while supporting ocean conservation. For the first time, the distillery has finished its whisky in Atlantic coastal red wine casks from South Africa, lending vibrant layers of dark berries and orchard fruits to Talisker's signature maritime smoke. Bottled at 48.2%, this expression opens with red berries and bonfire smoke on the nose, unfolds into sweet blackcurrant and baked apple wrapped in coastal pepper, and closes with a lingering finish of red fruit jam and salted caramel. Beyond the glass, each bottle contributes to the Blue Marine Foundation's efforts to restore native oysters and seagrass meadows along England's southern coast.
