Suunto & Project Hiu- Glow-In-The-Dark Strap That Saves Sharks

Suunto has partnered with Project Hiu to launch the Green Glow strap—a quick-release silicone watch band designed for divers and explorers. For every strap sold between June and December 2025, Suunto will donate €10 to Project Hiu, helping fund sustainable alternatives for Indonesian shark fishermen. By preventing a single fishing boat from operating for one month, this initiative can save up to 100 sharks.

The strap features a black-speckled turquoise design with a glow-in-the-dark finish and is compatible with all 22 mm Suunto sports watches.

Suunto also released a matching hammerhead shark watch face via the SuuntoPlus™ app—available for users of the Suunto Ocean—to visibly support shark conservation.

This collaboration channels adventure gear into meaningful action—every accessory becomes a statement for ocean stewardship.
