Save Whales

Most of the great whale species became endangered due to whaling, which doesn’t seem to be a threat anymore. Nevertheless, today whales are exposed to other hazards associated with human activity: entanglement in fishing gear and marine debris, vessel strikes, impacts from climate change, and ocean noise from oil and gas development.

Climate change and other oceanographic shifts may greatly affect zooplankton and, therefore, the blue whale. The majority of feeding happens in high latitude water, usually in productive upwellings along with the continental shelf break.

Whales are wonderful creatures. We want to draw attention to their extinction. Choose yours and share your strong will to save marine life.
