The Panerai Luminor PAM01731 channels the design language established when the Florentine maison crafted professional diving instruments for the Italian Navy in the 1960s. This 44mm steel timepiece reinterprets the historic Ref. 6152/1 case architecture, preserving the cushion geometry, crown protective bridge, and domed crystal that defined Panerai's original underwater tools. The tobacco sandwich dial - two superimposed plates designed for enhanced legibility in all light conditions - pairs with small seconds at 9 o'clock and beige lume, while the hand-wound P.6000 calibre delivers a three-day power reserve visible through the open caseback. Water-resistant to 30 bar, it comes with both a vintage-style dark brown calf leather strap and an additional brown rubber strap.
