The inconspicuous 186-footer, Too Design's newest concept, is loaded with fascinating characteristics that only become visible upon closer study. The VisionE is a futuristic, eco-friendly vessel designed by Marco Casali, the studio's founder and veteran designer, to promote a more sustainable life and sailing. With a movable solar roof on top, VisionE reveals a spacious 1,600-square-foot sun deck with a spa pool, outdoor dining space, and lounge. Aside from the interesting mechanics, the roof's solar panels can capture up to 62 kW of solar energy, which is then retained in the yacht's enormous battery pack and utilized to power it. VisionE is powered by a hybrid diesel-electric system that can propel her to speeds of up to 14 knots. Still, she might eventually run entirely on pure, green electricity or hydrogen. VisionE has a sleek aluminum hull and a sharp bow that is expressly intended to reduce drag and boost efficiency.
