Imagine a mega-yacht that strikingly reminds you of a giant swan. This concept from Lazzarini Design Studio called Avanguardia is what it's called - very much in an avanguard of a yacht design - experimental and innovative. The enveloped was definitely pushed. The Avanguardia measures 137 meters long and can host 60 passengers spread across 5 decks. Primary propulsion is provided by two fully electric engines and a central MTU Rolls-Royce engine. With this, the yacht is capable of reaching speeds of up to 18 knots. The main feature that puts it above and beyond all other yachts is Avanguardia’s swan head control tower which can be raised or lowered and also doubles as a removable 16-meters tender.
