IWC U.S. NAVY SQUADRON PILOT'S WATCHES

Since 2018, IWC Schaffhausen has collaborated with more than a dozen United States Navy and Marine Corps aviation squadrons to manufacture unique watches that are only available to current and former members. Until now, that is. Three chronographs were created in partnership with the Royal Maces, Tophatters, and Blue Angels for the new US Navy Squadron collection. Each watch features the squadron's crest on the 6 o'clock sub-dial, a 44.5mm Ceratanium casing, an IWC 69380 calibre movement, and is limited to 500 pieces. The stopwatch is controlled by a column wheel. The bi-directional pawl-winding method provides energy to the movement, accumulating a 46-hour power reserve. The watches also include a soft-iron inner case that effectively protects the mechanism from magnetic fields. The front glasses are fixed in a unique way to prevent displacement in the event of a sudden drop in air pressure.
