The traditional peacoat has recently gotten some tweaks but is considered a champ and favoured by nautically minded. Made in limited quantities, this unique Greg Lauren 'Sailor' peacoat is handcrafted from patches of felted cotton-blend and denim so that no two are exactly alike. Los Angeles-based designer Greg Lauren started the sustainable initiative 'GL Scraps' in 2020 to allow the scraps of recycled products to be made into new apparel. A patchwork-like aesthetic informs his collection, as scraps are used in unique ways.
