Inspired by icebergs, the Fata Morgana — "mirage" in Italian — is meant to raise awareness about the changes happening to the arctic areas it's designed to explore. Its steel, ice-classed hull is decorated with an arctic landscape-like design, while an iceberg-like glass structure houses the main saloon and VIP suite, offering unobstructed views. A kite-like apparatus will be attached to the vessel, allowing it to move using wind power and keeping emissions to a minimum. In total, there's room aboard for 12 guests and 18 crew members, as well as a swimming pool, observatory, and helipad.
