Persian Gulf property developments are known for their fantastical and pioneering nature, and the Eco-Floating Hotel project slated for Qatar is no exception. Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio created a circular-shaped platform that completes one rotation every 24 hours. The hotel’s glass vortex roof is stunning, but it also serves as a rainwater collection system. The hotel will feature solar powers and wind turbines to attain natural power. As it stands, the Eco-Floating Hotel is slated to feature 152 upscale rooms. Those who stay can enjoy private balconies, swimming pools, a spa, and a gym. It’s got its own boat dock and simply offers the most amazing level of hospitality and rich ocean views. The project is on track for completion by 2025.
