Corallite by Sanjay Puri Architects – Coral-Inspired Illumination & Sculptural Living

Introducing Corallite, a poetic fusion of design, sustainability, and oceanic inspiration. Conceived by Mumbai’s renowned Sanjay Puri Architects in collaboration with FlexStone, this innovative collection mimics the intricate geometry of coral reefs through its sinuous textures and biomorphic forms.

The range includes pendant and floor lamps, tables, and seating—each crafted from lightweight foam concrete composed of approximately 80% recycled content. Remarkably, its production uses almost no water or electricity, resulting in a near-zero carbon footprint.

Light doesn’t merely emanate—it permeates these pieces through their porous surfaces, creating a soft, diffused glow that recalls coral bioluminescence and blurs the boundary between object and illumination. Corallite transcends function to become a sensorial sculpture—an ambient presence that evokes underwater serenity and sustainable luxury. Ideal for interiors shaped by the maritime spirit, these forms whisper of reefs, renewal, and refined eco-design.
