COGNAC AUGIER L’OCÉANIQUE

L’Océanique is a cognac from the Oléron island and is marked by the maritime influences from the French Atlantic coast giving him a mineral and iodized character. It has the distinction of comprising a distillate made from grapes grown near the Atlantic Ocean on the island of Oléron, which is technically in the Bois Ordinaires growing region of Cognac. The cognac features a rare and truly coastal expression and made of only ugni blanc, typical for the Cognac region. The body has a straightforward character that reveals strong mineral notes while the nose is floral and spiced with hints of Virginia tobacco.
