BMW unveils THE ICON, a groundbreaking 43-foot all-electric foiling yacht, redefining sustainable water travel. Developed through a collaborative effort between BMW's experts and innovative partners, this visionary craft combines cutting-edge design, advanced technology, and zero-emission cruising. With a length of 13.15 meters and a top speed of 30 knots, THE ICON breaks barriers in electric watercraft. Utilizing yacht racing-inspired hydrofoils, it reduces energy consumption by 80% compared to traditional hulls. The result is exceptional efficiency, higher speeds, and a smoother travel experience. Powered by two 100 kW electric motors and high-voltage BMW i3 batteries, THE ICON boasts a range of over 50 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 30 knots. Its electric drive system ensures silent, vibration-free progress, while the foiling technology minimizes wave formation. BMW's all-electric foiling yacht, THE ICON, paves the way for a sustainable future where luxury and responsible water travel coexist seamlessly.
