Patrick Sumner, a disgraced ex-army surgeon, signs up as ship's doctor on a whaling voyage to the Arctic in the new mini-series for TV, The North Water. He encounters Henry Drax, the harpooner, on board, a brutal killer whose amorality has been molded to fit the hardness of his life. Sumner embarks on an ill-fated voyage with a violent maniac in the hopes of escaping the horrors of his past. His journey becomes a brutal struggle for existence in the Arctic wilderness as he seeks redemption. With a cast full of big names like Colin Farrell and Jack O’Connell, this series is sure to captivate audiences. The series debuted on July 15th, 2021, and is complete with five different episodes. Viewers who want to check out the show can catch it on Roku for free!
