In a striking testament to its travel heritage, Louis Vuitton has unveiled “The Louis,” a 30-meter-tall, cruise ship–inspired pop-up boutique at Shanghai’s HKRI Taikoo Hui. Emblazoned with shimmering LV monograms and a stylized anchor, the architectural marvel evokes both voyage and voyageur—aligning with Shanghai’s legacy as China’s “Gateway to the East”. Inside, visitors can immerse themselves in the brand’s story through multi-sensory exhibitions: Trunkscape’s rotating nature tableaux, Visionary Journeys by Shohei Shigematsu, trunk-making workshops, a fashion gallery—and even a café on the third deck. Spanning 1,200 m² across three decks, it offers an immersive odyssey through Louis Vuitton’s craftsmanship and cosmopolitan spirit—all free to explore.
