An average capacity of 132 passengers, eight decks, and 71 cabins are just a few of the specs for the highly anticipated, soon-to-launch Sylvia Earle Ship from Aurora Expeditions. Named after the highly accomplished explorer, biologist, and oceanographer, Sylvia Earle, this vessel prioritizes conservation efforts for marine protected areas and ocean wildlife. This new ship accommodates an average of 130 to 140 people per voyage and offers ocean views and balconies in nearly every cabin. The Sylvia Earle is designed for remote and rugged areas. Expeditions across the notorious Drake Passage and the Denmark Strait resulting in intense conditions, but the Sylvia Earle is powerful, robust, and equipped to on any and all challenges that nature may throw its way. This vessel contains a swimming pool, wellness center, lounge, zodiac docks, activity preparation areas, and countless safety and travel features.
