SPITBANK FORT

Spitbank Fort is a unique island fortress that was built in the 1800 and then decommissioned around the 50’. This object of military history is packed with charm and intrigue. In 2009, it was bought and fully renovated into a luxury property surrounded by dramatic architecture from the fort’s exciting history. It has nine comfortable guest suites, a bar, a restaurant, a wine cave, a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, a sauna, and a licensed wedding facility. This is one of a kind venue with a circular floor letting you experience the world from a new perspective. Stunning panoramic views across the Solent, with just passing yachts in your sight line, make it an ideal setting for any occasion. The property is well-suited, just 15 minutes transfer time from Gunwharf Quays by boat.
