SHE IS THE OCEAN is a unique full-length documentary presenting nine extraordinary women ranging from the ages of 12 to 85 whose entire lives revolve around the Ocean. They are united by the same sea, share a profound love for the ocean, possess courage and determination to lead the life of the sea, explore, preserve, and protect the ocean.

Directed by Innesse Blohina, an avid surfer and acclaimed director of the documentary ON THE WAVE, this documentary is created as a cumulative mosaic portrait of a powerful woman that devotes all her life to the Ocean throughout all her ages. SHE IS THE OCEAN is more than a just documentary. It is a story that combining both natural beauty and human empathy.
