Expedition to the edge, a brand-new Discovery Channel series, follows Captain Clemens and his motley crew of family and friends as they learn the price of adventure when a trip with friends devolves into a life-or-death crisis that requires all-hands-on-deck. Captain Clemens Gabriel and his crew of family and friends were one of 23 ships that expected an easy voyage as they attempted the perilous Northwest Passage through the Arctic in 2018. However, shortly after setting sail from the Marshall Islands to take on the impossible, they were greeted with the coldest season for the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in a quarter-century. Twenty-one ships instantly went back, but Captain Clemens Gabriel made the surprising choice to continue in exploration. Expedition To The Edge is the story of one family on their thrilling, emotionally charged journey to follow their dream. This movie offers an unfiltered look at the crew's motivations, fears, and struggles who survived a perilous 8-month journey into the legendary Northwest Passage.
