Eminente, created by César Marti, the island's youngest Maestro Ronero (Rum Master), and aged for a minimum of seven years in white wood Tonneaux de Rhum, represents the revival of Cuban rum from the nineteenth century. He learned his trade from his grandparents and his maternal relatives, who had worked in the sugar industry and had passed on centuries of know-how to him. He grew up in sugarcane fields that extended as far as the eye could see. Eminente Reserva combines the visual appeal of a traditional Cuban light rum with the complexity and depth of a very old one, making it perfect for sipping, over ice, and mixing in cocktails as well. Eminente is central-style rum from Cuba, meaning it perfectly pairs the punchy flavors of Havana rum with the sweeter notes of rum created in the east.
