Chumbe Island Coral Park, a private nature reserve off the coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, is a pioneering model for sustainable tourism. This island is surrounded by a protected Coral Reef Sanctuary, home to over 500 fish and 200 coral species—one of the most pristine shallow reefs in East Africa.

The unique feature is its seven Zero Impact Eco-Bungalows. These charming, self-sufficient accommodations use solar power, rainwater harvesting, and composting toilets, allowing you to disconnect (no Wi-Fi in bungalows) and fully immerse yourself in nature.
