Bitter End Yacht Club, a world-renowned watersports playground, was founded in 1969 and created as a family resort in 1973. It is known for its embracing of adventure, appreciation of the sea, harmony with natural surroundings, and dedication to friends, family, and fun. Due to its protected, deep-water harbour, consistent trade winds, and proximity to vibrant coral reefs, the Bitter End is recognized as a watersports enthusiast's dream. The yacht club has become a popular destination for sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, scuba diving, snorkelling, and beachcombing over the previous 50 years. When not in or on the water, visitors may relax on the resort's pristine beaches, browse in the resort's shops, stock up on gourmet food, and saddle up to one of the BVI's oldest bars.
