Bertone Runabout: A Neo-Retro Revival

The Bertone Runabout reintroduces the iconic 1969 concept car as part of the new Bertone Classic range, limited to just 25 pieces worldwide.

Inspired by nautical design and late-1960s racing speedboats, the Runabout is offered in two configurations: Barchetta, a pure open-air experience, and Targa, with a removable roof. Its sharp geometry, L-shaped lines, and minimalist windscreen echo the original, while a 3.5L supercharged V6 engine delivers up to 460 hp and 0–100 km/h in 3 seconds.

The interior blends maritime heritage with modern craftsmanship, featuring bi-color schemes, aluminium accents, a nautical compass, and handcrafted leather. Manual gearbox precision emphasizes analog purity in a digital age.

More than a car, the Runabout is a statement of design legacy—merging Italian automotive artistry with speedboat-inspired style. As a rare production limited to 25, it captures exclusivity, heritage, and performance in one bold creation.
