The Orient Express legend continues with the unveiling of the world's largest sailing ship, the Orient Express Silenseas, in 2026. A French partnership between Accor and Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the ship features 54 luxurious suites, two restaurants, two swimming pools, and a speakeasy bar. Its revolutionary technological design, 'SolidSail', combines wind power with a state-of-the-art LNG engine, offering a more environmentally-friendly sea travel. The ship will be financed up to 70-80% by commercial banks, with the remainder provided by a consortium of equity partners. The Orient Express Silenseas invites guests to experience incredible shows, spa treatments, and stopover explorations to cultural treasures, making for a unique and unforgettable travel experience.
