Microbi Design Coral Soaps Inspired by the Sea

Created by designer Laura Maria Gonzalez, Microbi Design’s Coral Soaps transform the beauty of marine life into functional art.

Using computational design and 3D printing, each soap replicates the intricate forms of coral species like Leptoria, Platygyra, and Agaricia. The three styles — Brainy, Wavy, and Spotty — feature vivid colors and textured patterns that gently massage the skin.

Made from natural goat’s milk and available in eucalyptus or unscented options, the soaps are crafted without plastic packaging. Complementing the collection, the Coral Dish mirrors reef structures with openings for drainage and quick drying, extending the soap’s life while minimizing material waste.

The result is a thoughtful blend of design, sustainability, and coastal inspiration — a daily reminder of the ocean’s texture, color, and creativity.
